Facebook und Verlage! Erfahrungsbericht aus UK.

With The Sun free of its paywall shackles, Facebook Instant Articles is a much more compelling proposition, according to News UK CMO Chris Duncan, who previously vowed the title would not succumb to the pressure of publishing directly to the platform. That made sense when The Sun was a subscriptions proposition, but now it's keen to see what role instant articles can play in its ambitious plan to scale its digital audience. It seems it's not doing too badly: Duncan has claimed the site has added 300,000 new unique users in the past 16 days. Sustaining that growth will be the challenge. He spoke to Digiday about why platforms represent a "fantastic puzzle" for publishers to work out, and why Facebook has a "duty of care" when it comes to its relationships with them.
